Hi, I'm Anna G!
Your Brooklyn-based Pediatric OT
I'm Anna Goldstein, a pediatric occupational therapist with experience since 2017. I earned my M.S. in Occupational Therapy from NYU and have worked with children from infancy through adolescence across a range of settings, including Early Intervention, preschools, private schools, and in-home therapy.
With a background in visual arts, I bring creativity to my play-based, functional approach. I’ve supported children with Autism, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, sensory differences, genetic conditions, and more, using evidence-based methods like NDT, DIR/Floortime, Handwriting Without Tears, and Zones of Regulation.
I take a strengths-based, holistic approach, tailoring each session to the individual needs of my clients and adapting as they grow. I value collaboration with families, schools, and other providers to ensure consistency and progress. As a NICU mom, I understand how overwhelming starting services can feel, and I’m here to support your child’s journey with empathy, expertise, and care.
What is occupational therapy?
Pediatric OT is a rehabilitative field that aims to improve independence across a child’s "occupations," activities that are part of their everyday lives. Children’s occupations often include getting dressed and ready for school, handwriting, eating meals, and playing.
My Approach
In my practice, I focus on a strengths-based approach and view my clients holistically, analyzing the various physical, cognitive, and behavioral traits that make them unique. I individualize treatment to meet the needs of each client, and continually reassess each child as they progress, adjusting their goals as needed. I value interdisciplinary collaboration and communicate with my clients’ school team and any outside providers to ensure continuity of care. I believe in making therapy fun and engaging and enjoy being an advocate for my clients and their families. There is nothing more rewarding than watching my clients meet their goals; I hope to be a part of your child’s journey towards independence!

Working Together
As we work together, you'll begin to understand the underlying challenges that may be influencing your child’s behavior and daily functioning. We’ll use this insight to develop personalized strategies that support your child’s unique needs. Your child may receive a customized Home Exercise Plan (HEP)—a fun and purposeful set of activities designed to strengthen their skills between sessions and promote continued progress at home.
I can also collaborate with your child’s teachers, sharing practical OT strategies to help them succeed in the classroom and stay regulated, focused, and engaged throughout the day. You’ll be provided with clear, easy-to-use techniques that fit naturally into your family’s daily routines, helping you support your child with confidence and consistency at home.
Most importantly, your child will have fun while learning and growing—and with every new skill mastered, they’ll build confidence and independence.
I specialize in:
My sensory gym and fine motor room are located in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Because occupational therapy is play-based, children can enjoy suspended tunnels, swings, a climbing wall, and a wide variety of games while targeting their goals!
