ABOUT ME:

My name is Anna Goldstein and I am a pediatric occupational therapist who has been working in the field since 2017. I received my M.S. in Occupational Therapy from New York University, and have enjoyed working with children of all ages, from 6 weeks-18 years.

I have extensive experience working in a variety of settings such as home-based Early Intervention, CPSE preschools, special education private schools, and privately in the home. I have worked with children and young adults with conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Visual Impairments, Genetic and Chromosomal Disorders, Behavioral Disorders, Global Developmental Delays, and Sensory Processing Disorder. When working with clients, I draw from a variety of evidence-based techniques such as Handwriting Without Tears, Keyboarding Without Tears, Sensory Integration, NDT, DIR/Floortime, and Zones of Regulation.

In my practice, I focus on a strengths-based approach and view my clients holistically, analyzing the various physical, cognitive, and behavioral traits that make them unique. I individualize treatment to meet the needs of each client, and continually reassess each child as they progress, adjusting their goals as needed. I value interdisciplinary collaboration and communicate with my clients’ school team and any outside providers to ensure continuity of care. I believe in making therapy fun and engaging and enjoy being an advocate for my clients and their families. There is nothing more rewarding than watching my clients meet their goals; I hope to be a part of your child’s journey towards independence!
